Arnhem, Netherlands-based folk metal group Heidevolk issued sixth full-length studio album Vuur van Verzet<\/em> on January 12th, 2018 through Napalm Records.<\/p>\n

Heidevolk commented: \u201cWe are excited to announce our long-awaited new album Vuur van Verzet<\/em> (\u2018Fire Of Resistance\u2019). An album that catapults you to a battlefield where a failing Roman empire is retreating and Germanic tribes are on the rise to claim back what is theirs. It will guide you through the great migrations and tell the tale of early traditions, gods and nature.<\/p>\n

Vuur Van Verzet<\/em> was made available in the following formats; 1CD six-page digipak (including 24 page booklet), 1LP gatefold (black and limited golden vinyl), limited edition album bundle (including six-page digipak, leather wristband, flag, and patch), and digital download.<\/p>\n

A music video was filmed for the track \u2018Ontwaakt\u2019. Produced by Awik Balaian, Maurice Swinkels and Heidevolk, meanwhile, animated music videos were created for the English and Dutch language versions of the track \u2018A Wolf In My Heart\u2019 (\u2018Een Wolf in mijn Hart\u2019). All three clips can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Fifth studio record Velua<\/em> was released<\/a> in March 2015 via Napalm Records.<\/p>\n
