Helsinki, Finland-based gothic metal group The 69 Eyes issued 12th full-length studio album West End<\/em> on September 13th, 2019 through Nuclear Blast Records. The digipak CD version of West End<\/em> included a bonus Blu-ray, featuring a special band documentary directed by Ville Lipi\u00e4inen.<\/p>\n

Jyrki 69 commented: \u201cThe title West End<\/em> evokes a dark image – when something dies, something new comes up and we all have to change in order to stay alive. I feel like this planet is on some turning point. The end of the western world is near and the question is: What is happening when the west ends? The title has multiple meanings for us, but be assured it has definitely nothing to do with The Pet Shop Boys or London.\u201d<\/p>\n

West End<\/em> included a number of guest vocalists, including Cradle Of Filth\u2019s Dani Filth, Wednesday 13 and Beast\u00f6 Blanc\u00f6\u2019s Calico Cooper.<\/p>\n
