International power metal band SOTO, featuring namesake American vocalist Jeff Scott Soto (Sons Of Apollo \/ ex-Yngwie Malmsteen \/ ex-Talisman \/ ex-Journey), have filmed a music video for the track \u2018Torn\u2019. Directed by Thiago Kiss (Conceitual Films), the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Jeff Scott Soto commented: \u201cWhile we were about to start the EU tour, we asked our video director in Brazil, Thiago Kiss, to whip us up a treatment for another Single from Origami<\/em> called \u2018Torn\u2019. This is an emotional song co-written with drummer Edu Cominato, myself and the same writer as our first video Single \u2018HyperMania\u2019, Luiz Portinari.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe chose this track as the deep lyric and theme of the song is a double entendre that could be taken from the crumbling of a relationship between two people or the crumbling of society and humanity. In our videos, we try to also portray triple entendres as will be evident in this new clip. Once again, Thiago paints visually stunning lush and cinematic landscapes along with story lines that make you \u2018feel\u2019 more than just watch!\u201d<\/p>\n

SOTO issued third full-length studio album Origami<\/em> on May 24th, 2019 through InsideOut Music.<\/p>\n

SOTO bass player David \u201cZ\u201d Zablidowsky died<\/a> in a vehicle accident on July 14th, 2017 while touring with the American heavy metal group Adrenaline Mob. Zablidowsky was 38 years old.<\/p>\n
