Nancy, France-based progressive death metal group Fractal Universe issued second full-length studio album Rhizomes Of Insanity<\/em> on April 19th, 2019 through Metal Blade Records.<\/p>\n

The outing can be streamed in its entirety via YouTube below.<\/p>\n

\u201cRhizomes Of Insanity<\/em> is a concept album based on a thought experiment around the concept of insanity,\u201d commented vocalist \/ guitarist Vince Wilquin. \u201cIt questions the origins of it, and tries to define where we set its boundaries with \u2018reason\u2019. It eventually questions its place in our modern society and surmises that it has turned into an intrinsic, unavoidable but also necessary part of it and of every human being, which we\u2019re trying to repress at all costs.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rhizomes Of Insanity<\/em> was made available in the following formats; jewelcase CD, limited digipak CD with bonus track (EU exclusive), 180g black vinyl (EU exclusive), light yellow vinyl (EU exclusive, limited to 200 copies), yellow \/ white splatter vinyl (EU exclusive, limited to 120 copies), and orange \/ red marbled vinyl (US exclusive, limited to 150 copies).<\/p>\n

Directed by Vincent Tournaud, music videos were filmed for the tracks \u2018Oneiric Realisations\u2019, \u2018Flashes Of Potentialities\u2019 and \u2018Rising Oblivion\u2019. A live performance video was released for the track \u2018Fundamental Dividing Principle\u2019, the video in question directed by Vincent Tournaud and filmed during the band\u2019s show at Le Gueulard Plus in Nilvange, France on April 19th.<\/p>\n

Debut studio record Engram Of Decline<\/em> was released in April 2017 via Kolony Records.<\/p>\n
