Manchester, England-based ambient post-hardcore band Parting Gift issued their debut EP Ensom<\/em> on March 22d, 2019 through Fearless Records.<\/p>\n

Vocalist Zac Vernon commented: \u201cThe basis of the entire EP is the feeling of a cold, dark entity making one unable to feel anything. The darkest of dreams and visions, delusions. It is walking the thin line between what is real and what is in your mind. It is the obsession by what is seemingly out of one\u2019s control. A sort of coping strategy for the pain it causes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ensom<\/em> was produced and mixed by George Lever and Peter Vybiral, while mastering was handled by Mike Kalajian. <\/p>\n
