EXUMER Launch Music Video For \u2018King\u2019s End\u2019 Track<\/strong><\/span>

German \/ US thrash metal band Exumer have filmed a music video for the track \u2018King\u2019s End\u2019. Shot, edited and directed by Goreminister at the Turock Club in Essen, Germany during Exumer\u2019s last European tour dates, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Vocalist Mem Von Stein commented: \u201cWe were approached by our buddy Goreminister, who has his own YouTube channel and is a pretty known character in the metal scene in and around Essen, if we would be interested in a new video that resembles old Headbangers Ball<\/em> clips. We instantly were on board with the concept and are now excited to launch something that uniquely resembles the early 90s over the top videos we devoured back when metal was still on television.\u201d<\/p>\n

Exumer issued fifth full-length studio album Hostile Defiance<\/em> on April 5th, 2019 through Metal Blade Records.<\/p>\n

Mem Von Stein said: \u201cWe wanted to sonically progress, incorporating more melodic elements in the music as well as more rhythmic variety. We are a lot braver trying to create an up to date and relevant sound that can easily stand alone in today\u2019s thrash landscape without sounding trite or a throwback, and we\u2019re challenging the listener not to get too comfortable with one specific feel, tempo or pace.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur goal is simple: to further establish the band as one of the main German thrash metal acts that began in the 1980s and are now carrying the torch into the 2020s.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hostile Defiance<\/em> was produced by Dennis Koehne, and tracked in studios in Dortmund and Frankfurt.<\/p>\n

Cover artwork was created by Costin Chioreanu.<\/p>\n
