EXHORDER Release Third Studio Album \u2018Mourn The Southern Skies\u2019<\/strong><\/span>

New Orleans, Louisiana-based thrash metal group Exhorder issued third full-length studio album Mourn The Southern Skies<\/em><\/a> on September 20th, 2019 through Nuclear Blast Records. The outing was the band\u2019s first full-length record in 27 years.<\/p>\n

Guitarist Vinnie LaBella commented: \u201cTwenty-seven years? Man, that\u2019s a big number! A lot has transpired over the course of such an extended amount of time, and this record touches on it all. There is material on this record that is literally 27 years old along with material that was written just six months ago, and everything in between.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are truly no words to express the emotions which are connected with this moment. And that\u2019s pretty convenient because I prefer to do my talking in the ring \/ stage anyway. But the people who really made this what it is cannot go without mention: my incredible band mates; Simon and krewe at AISA Management; all at Nuclear Blast Records; and Duane Simoneaux at OCD Recording. Jens Bogren was an unquestionable genius! So honoured to have him on this.<\/p>\n

Mourn The Southern Skies<\/em> was recorded with producer Duane Simoneaux at OCD Studios in Metairie, Louisiana, while mixing and mastering duties fell to Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios in Sweden.<\/p>\n
