International extreme metal trio Vltimas issued debut full-length studio album Something Wicked Marches In<\/em> on March 29th, 2019 through Season Of Mist.<\/p>\n

The outing has been made available for streaming in its entirety via YouTube and can be accessed below.<\/p>\n

After collecting a handful of riffs, Aura Noir \/ ex-Mayhem guitarist Rune Eriksen presented Cryptopsy drummer Flo Mounier with the idea of forming a band together. Eriksen subsequently got in touch with former Morbid Angel frontman David Vincent, with whom he had been in contact for years, to finalize the line-up. <\/p>\n

During sessions at The Noiz Faktory in Georgetown, Texas, the musicians started writing a substantial amount of music. The first ideas and song skeletons were later fleshed out by Rune at his home studio in Portugal, then finalized when Mounier and Eriksen returned to Texas, in order to put the final touches to the material at David\u2019s home studio. <\/p>\n

Finally, the trio entered Orgone Studios in Woburn, England in May 2018 with producer Jaime Gomez Arellano.<\/p>\n
