Stockholm, Sweden-based melodic death metal group Amon Amarth have released a music video for the track \u2018Fafner\u2019s Gold\u2019. Directed by J\u00f6rg Maas and featuring footage filmed at the K\u00f6nig Pilsner Arena in Oberhausen, Germany during last year\u2019s Berserker European headline tour, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Regarding the video, the band stated: \u201cHas anyone ever wondered what it\u2019s like to see a full power Amon Amarth live arena show in Europe? We distilled our Berserker European Tour show and bring it to you via video of \u2018Fafner\u2019s Gold\u2019. It has it all: fire, more fire, fighting Vikings, a flying Viking Helmet riser, giant stone Guardians of Asgaard, an epic sea serpent and… Fafner\u2019s Gold. Please enjoy, stay safe out there and Raise Your Horns!\u201d<\/p>\n

Amon Amarth issued 11th full-length studio album Berserker<\/em> on May 3rd, 2019 in North America through Metal Blade Records. Sony Music scheduled international release for the same day.<\/p>\n

Vocalist Johan Hegg commented: \u201cFor me, this is Amon Amarth 2.0. I think what we\u2019ve done here is give ourselves the space to explore other parts of our musicality and who we are as a band. If you\u2019re content with where you\u2019re at, what’s the point of continuing?<\/p>\n

\u201cWe always want to come up with new ideas and find new ways of doing things and to create bigger and better shows and really try to improve every aspect of what the band is. We want to try to keep growing and to do this for as long as we have the possibility to do so, because this is the best fucking job in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Berserker<\/em> was recorded at Sphere Studios in North Hollywood, California with producer Jay Ruston.<\/p>\n
