Baltimore, Maryland-based death metal group Misery Index issued sixth full-length studio album Rituals Of Power<\/em> on March 8th, 2019 through Season Of Mist.<\/p>\n

The outing can be streamed in its entirety via YouTube below.<\/p>\n

Misery Index commented: \u201cRituals Of Power<\/em> is a disavowal and warning against the consequences of our so-called \u2018post-truth\u2019 age. Each of the nine songs revolves loosely around this theme, yet each track also stands very much on its own. As an album, however, they are all brought to life as one \u2018reanimated\u2019 monster; it\u2019s roughly 35 minutes of unhinged-yet-cohesive riff-driven aural ballistics. We were pissed off and on fire during both the writing and recording, and we think it shows in spades. We set out to write the best album we could, based on what we would want to hear first as fans of this music, and we could not be happier.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fifth studio record The Killing Gods<\/em> was released in May 2014 via Season Of Mist.<\/p>\n
