Swiss hard rock group Gotthard issued live album Defrosted 2<\/em> on December 7th, 2018 through Nuclear Blast Records.<\/p>\n

Defrosted 2<\/em> consists of live acoustic versions of past Gotthard tracks, recorded in March 2018 on the Defrosted tour. D Frosted<\/em> was released in 1997.<\/p>\n

The outing was produced by Leo Leoni in collaboration with Nicolo Fragile, while Charlie Bauerfeind handled mixing. Further refinement took place in the Wisseloord Studio in Hilversum, Netherlands.<\/p>\n

Defrosted 2<\/em> includes two newly recorded tracks; the ballad \u2018What I Wouldn\u2019t Give\u2019 and \u2018Bye Bye Caroline\u2019, the latter lyrically inspired by 1973 Status Quo song \u2018Caroline\u2019. \u2018Bye Bye Caroline\u2019 was created with Status Quo frontman Francis Rossi, who contributed guitar and duet vocals. The track was spontaneously written backstage on the 2018 instalment of the Rock Meets Classic tour.<\/p>\n
