NAILED TO OBSCURITY Release Live Performance Video For \u2018The Aberrant Host\u2019 Track<\/strong><\/span>

Esens, Germany-based melodic death \/ doom metal group Nailed To Obscurity have released an official live performance video for the track \u2018The Aberrant Host\u2019, which can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

The band stated: \u201cOur shows in support of Black Frost<\/em> have been nothing but awesome. The shared atmosphere between the band and audience at the shows was really special – no matter the place or festival nor the time of day. The live video for \u2018The Aberrant Host\u2019 provides a little insight of what people can expect from us. The song itself creates the image of the destructive or even corrosive behavior of a person that destroys the life of another one without realizing that this act affects its own existence, too.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nailed To Obscurity issued fourth full-length studio album Black Frost<\/em> on January 11th, 2019 through Nuclear Blast Records.<\/p>\n

The band commented: \u201cFrequently, we carry frustration, pain, fear and rage with us until it\u2019s too late. Like black frost that builds up weightily on the mast and the ropes of a ship, able to cause it to capsize, we burden ourselves. These suppressed emotions are the focus of Black Frost<\/em>, which for us is the next logical step after King Delusion<\/em>. While the new songs feature our distinctive touches, they are also a lot more open and multifaceted than ever before.\u201d<\/p>\n

Black Frost<\/em> was recorded at Woodshed Studio near Landshut, Germany with producer V. Santura. <\/p>\n

Cover artwork duties fell to Santiago Caruso, once again. \u201cThrough the ages, the experience of the organic has outspread a substance frozen by the fear of uncertainty: the order of the sight succeeded to mute the mystery of the organism with a web of cold signs within the limits of the body, covering the shape of our true selves under the petrified whisper of a black frost,\u201d explained Caruso. \u201cNow, we are in need of crying out a sharp thunder, a burning poem to melt it down.\u201d<\/p>\n
