STEVE PERRY: Former JOURNEY Frontman Releases New Music Video For \u2018We\u2019re Still Here\u2019 Track<\/strong><\/span>

American rock vocalist Steve Perry, formerly of Journey, has released a new music video for the track \u2018We\u2019re Still Here\u2019. Directed by Myriam Santos, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Steve Perry issued third solo full-length studio album Traces<\/em> on October 5th, 2018 through Fantasy Records.<\/p>\n

Traces<\/em> was produced by Steve Perry alongside co-producer Thom Flowers. Included is a cover rendition of \u2018I Need You\u2019. Written by George Harrison, its original version was featured on The Beatles’ August 1965 outing Help!<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Steve Perry commented: \u201cYears ago, I disappeared. There were many reasons, but mainly my love for music had suddenly left me. I knew that simply stopping was what I had to do if music was ever to return to my heart. Then and only then I would figure out what to do. If not\u2026 so be it. For I had already lived the dream of dreams.<\/p>\n

\u201cMany years passed. One day I began sketching some musical ideas with the creative freedom that I was the only one who would ever hear them. One song led to many. My love for music had returned. Then another beautiful thing happened. I found love.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy precious Kellie gave me a life I never knew I had. I lost her December of 2012. I now deeply understand the meaning of: \u2018It\u2019s better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cMay of 2015, I began recording.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese songs are special to me. I respectfully ask that you please listen to them, and whatever they make you feel, I thank you for listening.\u201d<\/p>\n
