San Diego, California-based one-man industrial metal project Author & Punisher, spearheaded by Tristan Shone, has made the track \u2018Night Terror\u2019 available for streaming via YouTube, which can be accessed below.<\/p>\n

Author & Punisher issues sixth full-length studio album Beastland<\/em> on October 5th, 2018 through Relapse Records.<\/p>\n

Beastland<\/em> was recorded at K Street in San Diego, California, and engineered by Tristan Shone and John Cota. Additional recording was done in Las Cruces, New Mexico with Jason Begin. <\/p>\n

The album was co-produced with Braden Diotte, mixed by Kurt Ballou at GodCity in Salem, Massachusetts, and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege in Portland, Oregon.<\/p>\n

Directed by Augie Arredondo and with art direction from Marilia Maschion, a music video was filmed for the track \u2018Nihil Strength\u2019. The clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Tristan Shone commented: \u201cI built new machines for this album to make more aggressive and dynamic music. These devices are compact and powerful, made from robotic components, intended for high-energy repetition.<\/p>\n

\u201cI, as do many others, feel rage against the Beasts of our era: those who horde, who poison, or who discriminate. We need aggressive music to make an aggressive statement. Beastland<\/em> is an introspection of who we are as a human race.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt a time when we have the tools, the intellect, and the history to remind us how to treat each other and the earth, we go far out of our way to feast on the less fortunate and vulnerable, disregarding the atrocities and lessons of the past.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fifth studio record Melk En Honing<\/em> was released in June 2015 via Housecore Records.<\/p>\n
