France-based post-black metal group Decline Of The I issue third full-length studio album Escape<\/em> on July 27th, 2018 through Agonia Records.<\/p>\n

The effort can be streamed in its entirety below.<\/p>\n

Escape<\/em> is the third and final instalment in a concept trilogy inspired by the works of French surgeon, writer and philosopher Henri Laborit.<\/p>\n

Decline Of The I commented: \u201cAfter a heavy and neurasthenic first chapter, and an epileptic, dirty and violent second one, here\u2019s the last part of the Decline of the I\u2019s trilogy: Escape<\/em>. It\u2019s now time to leave, to avoid this perpetual aggression of the outside world. All the other reactions leaded to a dead end. Running away is the only possible move for the subject to preserve its entity. There are many forms of escape: madness, suicide, technology, spirituality. This third album explores all of them. Musically, it\u2019s the synthesis of all the previews works; it\u2019s contemplative and slow but also very fast, dark and brutal.\u201d<\/p>\n

Escape<\/em> was recorded, mixed and mastered at Black Sun Recordings by Junior Rodriguez. Guest vocals on \u2018Je Pense Donc Je Fuis\u2019 were provided by Kyrieh Alienor. <\/p>\n
