HOLTER Launch Music Video For New Song \u2018The Last Generation\u2019<\/strong><\/span>

Holter have filmed a music video for the track \u2018The Last Generation\u2019, which can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Trond Holter issues debut solo full-length studio album Vlad The Impaler<\/em> on November 9th, 2018 through Frontiers Music Srl, under the moniker Holter.<\/p>\n

The track \u2018World\u2019s On Fire\u2019 can be streamed below.<\/p>\n

Initially born as a one-off musical project between two Norwegian metal and hard rock, Trond Holter (ex-Wig Wam) and vocalist Jorn Lande, the duo\u2019s Dracula rock opera morphed into a full-time musical project with guitarist, producer and songwriter Holter at the helm.<\/p>\n

While the original plan was to leave 2015\u2019s collaborative Swing Of Death<\/em> as a one-off recording, staging the album as a musical in Norwegian theatres convinced Holter that a follow-up was possible. Already sitting on plenty of new material, Holter felt inspired to tell more stories of Dracula and other vampires that did not find a home in the storyline of that first album.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe first round of the Dracula rock opera was, in terms of live shows, only half the story with about 45 minutes of music, so I added some additional songs for the live shows to complete the story,\u201d Holter explained. \u201cIt was my intention all along to make this into a big show, even if it took a few years to complete. When I started on the new album, I reworked a few unused songs and that also inspired me to write some new ones. It\u2019s a bit hard for me to say, being so close to the material, but it\u2019s a few steps up the ladder sound-wise. You can easily recognise the spirit of the first album, only with more energy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dracula: Swing Of Death<\/em> was released in January 2015 via Frontiers, which was a collaboration album between Holter and J\u00f8rn Lande.<\/p>\n
