Gelsenkirchen, Germany-based thrash metal group Onkel Tom, the solo project of Sodom frontman Thomas \u2018Angelripper\u2019 Such, have released an official lyric video for the track \u2018Flasche zu Flasche\u2019, which can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

The band commented: \u201cCheck out another appetizer from the upcoming Onkel Tom release Bier Ernst<\/em>. This track is taken from the Bier<\/em> CD. The song \u2018Flasche zu Flasche\u2019 draws influences from Russian folklore and offers a catchy chorus to sing along to. Special thanks go to Ferdy Doernberg for playing mandolin and accordion. The lyrics dignify the significance of a bottle throughout every human\u2019s life. Cheers \u2018n\u2019 beers and lots of fun listening to the \u2018ode to the bottle\u2019!\u201d<\/p>\n

Onkel Tom issue seventh full-length studio album Bier Ernst<\/em> on September 28th, 2018 through Steamhammer \/ SPV.<\/p>\n

As well as rock versions of popular drinking and party ditties, Onkel Tom have recorded a dozen original compositions. Bier Ernst<\/em> is spread across 21 tracks on two CDs, titled – in accordance with their lyrical content – Bier<\/em> and Ernst<\/em>, respectively.<\/p>\n

Thomas \u2018Angelripper\u2019 Such commented: \u201cThe title track of our recent EP and eight additional numbers on the Ernst<\/em> CD present the band from a slightly different perspective. They\u2019re songs full of passion for music, but, of course, also full of anger about people\u2019s indifference that\u2019s bound to destroy the world. Naturally, it will also feature the new hit single, which will be supported by a very elaborate video clip. Get ready to be surprised! But don\u2019t worry: the 12 songs on the Bier<\/em> CD celebrate life, having a good time and sophisticated drinking.
