NONPOINT Release Music Video For \u2018Fix This\u2019 Track<\/strong><\/span>

American metal \/ rock group Nonpoint have released a music video for the track \u2018Fix This\u2019. Directed by Eric Richter, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the song, frontman Elias Soriano said: \u201cThere are two sides of everything that\u2019s broken. One side lives in the world of destruction and the other in the world of repair. The song \u2018Fix This\u2019 dives into what it feels like to be on both sides of the fight.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nonpoint issued tenth full-length studio album X<\/em> on August 24th, 2018 through Spinefarm Records.<\/p>\n

Drummer Robb Rivera commented: \u201cAs long as people want us to keep writing records, we\u2019re going to keep writing records. We have a special understanding in the studio, and the chemistry has only gotten better. We live for every moment on stage. We don\u2019t want to ever stop.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t see why we shouldn\u2019t be on our tenth record,\u201d added vocalist Elias Soriano. \u201cSince we are so deep into our career, we wanted to do something serious for number ten. We really took our time. We\u2019ve been honing in on writing something like this for two decades. Every single song received its due. Now, our end game is just to go until the fucking wheels come off.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prior to the making of X<\/em>, almost a year was taken off. \u201cWhen we did get back together, nobody posted anything on social media,\u201d recalled Rivera. \u201cWe dove right into it quietly and without expectations. It felt great to have the time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Returning to Chicago, Illinois, Nonpoint congregated in a room, jammed, and created music on the spot, leading to \u201cthe perfect reintroduction to the writing process.\u201d <\/p>\n

Fred Archambault produced at Uptown Recording Studio, with all ten tracks being laid down in 22 days.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe joke that he was our \u2018Captain Jack Sparrow\u2019,\u201d jests Soriano. \u201cHe was really encouraging. It was a breath of fresh air, and it brought us to another level. It goes without saying we\u2019d love to work together again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Music videos were filmed for the tracks \u2018Chaos And Earthquakes\u2019 and \u2018Wheel Against Will\u2019. In addition, an official lyric video was created for the song \u2018Dodge Your Destiny\u2019. All three clips can also be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Ninth studio record The Poison Red<\/em> was released<\/a> in July 2016 via Spinefarm Records.<\/p>\n
