\nTampa, Florida-based death metal group Six Feet Under issued compilation album Unburied<\/em> on July 6th, 2018 in digital format through Metal Blade Records.<\/p>\n

Unburied<\/em> was produced by frontman Chris Barnes, and mixed and mastered by Chaz Najjar at Badlands Recording in Denver, Colorado. The outing consists of nine tracks recorded during sessions for the albums Undead<\/em> (2012), Unborn<\/em><\/a> (2013), and Torment<\/em> (2017), and can be streamed in its entirety below.<\/p>\n

Chris Barnes commented: \u201cI feel Unburied<\/em> is something special and interesting to release that is different, being that this is our first digital-only release and the songs are all in their rawest and earliest form. It was also a shame for the songs to just sit there and go to waste; I knew the fans would dig them, and also everyone involved worked so hard writing and putting them together. I always felt like the tracks were excellent Six Feet Under material, and wanted to finish and release them at the time of each release \u2014 but there was just so much material that was put together for the Undead<\/em> and Unborn<\/em> sessions that eight songs were basically left over in the demo stages. Also, one song from the Torment<\/em> session that Jeff Hughell wrote \u2014 \u2018As The Dying Scream\u2019 \u2014 was left over in its demo stage as well. Hopefully you enjoy these tracks and it holds you over ’til the next full-length album!\u201d<\/p>\n

Music for the tracks were written by the following guitarists; Whitechapel\u2019s Ben Savage, Torture Killer\u2019s Jari Laine, current The Haunted and former Six Feet Under member Ola Englund, and erstwhile Chimaira and Six Feet Under member Rob Arnold. In addition, bassist Jeff Hughell wrote the music for the track \u2018As The Dying Scream\u2019, as earlier referenced.<\/p>\n
