GROUNDBREAKER Premiere \u2018Will It Make You Love Me?\u2019 Music Video<\/strong><\/span>

European melodic rock group Groundbreaker, featuring FM vocalist Steve Overland and Work Of Art \/ W.E.T. guitarist Robert S\u00e4ll, have filmed a music video for the track \u2018Will It Make You Love Me?\u2019, which can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Steve Overland commented: \u201cIt is a riff-driven song with a fantastic chorus. It is also my favourite song on the record and we had a great time making the video.\u201d<\/p>\n

Robert S\u00e4ll added: \u201cI had the basic idea for this song, the riff and chorus, for years, but it wasn\u2019t until now that I actually finished it. It turned out to be my favourite song on the album too! I\u2019m very excited about the release of this record. It has been getting great reviews already, but I can\u2019t wait to hear what the fans think of it, as that is what really matters.\u201d <\/p>\n

Groundbreaker issued their self-titled debut full-length studio album on September 14th, 2018 through Frontiers Music Srl.<\/p>\n

Groundbreaker came about when a conversation between Frontiers president Serafino Perugino and Overland revealed that the latter was eager to collaborate with \u201cnew and exciting\u201d musicians from the European melodic rock scene. The idea was immediately brought up to involve S\u00e4ll and use Alessandro Del Vecchio\u2019s production abilities. Overland loved the initial material that was submitted, and consequently they all started to work on songs. The process was very smooth and the final result was so good that everyone thought that the name Groundbreaker was the right way to describe the power and the vibe of the music.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m the main composer for about half of the songs, but Ale and Steve wrote a lot as well,\u201d said S\u00e4ll. \u201cI had to write songs with Steve\u2019s voice in mind and that was new, but very inspiring to me. But for any fan of FM or Work Of Art, I think they will be very familiar with the sound of this record!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe idea for the album was to make a classic AOR album and I think between Robert, Alessandro, Pete Alpenborg and myself, we came up with a great collection of songs,\u201d added Overland. \u201cI think this is some of the best material I\u2019ve worked on in a while and all of the musicians on the record are fantastic, not only as players, but to work with. I knew of Robert\u2019s writing talents on the Work Of Art records, but it really turned out to be a great collaboration and I\u2019m so proud of the results! My personal favourite song on the record is \u2018Will It Make You Love Me\u2019. We\u2019ve shot a video for it and I think it\u2019s truly a future classic!\u201d<\/p>\n
