Athens, Greece-based extreme metal group Rotting Christ issue deluxe five-CD, 72-page book set Under Our Black Cult<\/em> on July 6th, 2018 through Peaceville Records.<\/p>\n

Written by Dayal Patterson, author of 2015 book Black Metal: The Cult Never Dies<\/em>, Under Our Black Cult<\/em> charts the early years of Rotting Christ from their grindcore origins to becoming a name within the black metal scene. Under Our Black Cult<\/em> features interviews with the band, plus luminaries from the black metal and underground scenes, and friends such as Behemoth frontman Adam \u201cNergal\u201d Darski, Moonspell singer Fernando Ribeiro, and others.<\/p>\n

The five audio discs contain a collection of early works, including demos, rarities, live material, the Passage To Arcturo<\/em> MLP (1991), and their first two albums in Thy Mighty Contract<\/em> (1993) and Non Serviam<\/em> (1994). Also included is a limited hand-signed certificate from Sakis \u201cNecromayhem\u201d Tolis (while stocks last).<\/p>\n

Cover artwork duties fell to Vjacheslav Smishko.<\/p>\n

Rotting Christ recently entered the studio to begin recording<\/a> their as-yet-untitled 13th full-length studio album. <\/p>\n

Twelfth studio record Rituals<\/em> was released<\/a> in February 2016 via Season Of Mist.<\/p>\n
