Boston, Massachusetts-based metalcore group Killswitch Engage have signed a North American album contract with Metal Blade Records, signing with Sony Music Entertainment outside of North America. The development was revealed on June 4th, 2018.<\/p>\n

Vocalist Jesse Leach commented: \u201cI\u2019m beyond stoked to sign with the legendary Metal Blade Records and Columbia\/Sony Music. It\u2019s clear they truly understand and believe in what we do as a band, and we\u2019re psyched to have them on our side. It\u2019s an exciting new chapter for KsE and we can\u2019t wait to see what the future holds.\u201d<\/p>\n

Guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz added: \u201cI\u2019m very excited to say that Killswitch Engage will be joining forces with Metal Blade Records and Columbia\/Sony Music! Super stoked to join the ranks with a long list of many epic metal acts, as well as a team of excellent human beings who truly have a genuine love for metal music. Here\u2019s to an awesome future with awesome labels!\u201d<\/p>\n

Metal Blade Records CEO and founder Brian Slagel stated: \u201cI have been a huge fan and friend of Killswitch for a long time, so it is truly an honour to be able to work with them. So happy to welcome them to the Metal Blade family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Senior A&R Manager Columbia\/Sony Music Germany Benjamin Voss said: \u201cI am very happy and proud to work with such an amazing band like Killswitch Engage in the future. We are absolutely excited about releasing their new album on Sony Music outside North America.\u201d<\/p>\n

UK distribution will be handled through Sony label Music For Nations, label head Julie Weir sharing the following: \u201cEveryone here at Music for Nations is chomping at the bit to be working with the legendary Killswitch Engage. We are honoured and excited to be a part of this campaign (and hopefully future) and looking forward to creating this heavier than heavy chapter.\u201d <\/p>\n

At the time of writing, Killswitch Engage are finishing work on an eighth full-length studio album. Adam Dutkiewicz will handle production, once again.<\/p>\n

Seventh studio record Incarnate<\/em> was released<\/a> in March 2016 via Roadrunner Records.<\/p>\n
