Raleigh, North Carolina-based progressive metal group Between The Buried And Me issue Automata II<\/em>, the second of a two-part concept affair which comprises their eighth full-length studio album, on July 13th, 2018 through Sumerian Records.<\/p>\n

Frontman Tommy Giles Rogers Jr. commented: \u201cHolding our tongues for Automata II<\/em> was challenging. We worked so hard on these songs and finally we get to release the other half of this material to the world! I think this is some of the best material we\u2019ve ever released. It\u2019s a result of everything we\u2019ve been striving for up to this point. There are plenty of twists \/ turns and bizarre moments, but there is also a lot of beauty in the music and the story. Automata<\/em> is now complete and our antagonist found his version of home and peace. We are all in this together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bassist Dan Briggs added: \u201cAutomata II<\/em> sees us at our most dynamic and most creative. It feels like turning a page into a whole new terrain and us working all these years together to arrive at this point. It\u2019s quirky, adventurous, melodic, dark and full of theatrics.\u201d<\/p>\n
