Whittier, California-based thrash \/ death metal band Exmortus issued fifth full-length studio album The Sound Of Steel<\/em> on June 8th, 2018 through Prosthetic Records (excluding Japan). Marquee Inc. scheduled Japanese release to take place the same day.<\/p>\n

The outing can be streamed in its entirety via the Bandcamp player below.<\/p>\n

The Sound Of Steel<\/em> was produced by Zach Ohren at Sharkbite Studio in Oakland, California.<\/p>\n

The Sound Of Steel<\/em> was made available in the following vinyl colours; battle axe blood splatter (limited to 250 copies, and exclusively available through the Prosthetic web shop and sold by the band on tour), blue and black marble (limited to 250 copies, and exclusively available through the Prosthetic web shop and sold by the band on tour), clear with blue and orange splatter (limited to 400 copies, and available in retail stores worldwide), and white vinyl (limited to 100 copies, and available exclusively through Cargo Germany).<\/p>\n

Directed by Tony Turrietta, a music video was filmed for the track \u2018Feast Of Flesh\u2019. In addition, an official lyric video was created for the song \u2018Make Haste\u2019. And as well, an official bass playthrough video for the track \u2018Make Haste\u2019 featuring bassist Phillip Cody Nu\u00f1ez was released. All three clips can also be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Fourth studio record Ride Forth<\/em> was released<\/a> in January 2016 via Prosthetic Records.<\/p>\n
