Lausanne, Switzerland-based post-metal group Abraham issued third full-length studio album Look, Here Comes The Dark!<\/em> on May 11th, 2018 through Pelagic Records.<\/p>\n

The outing was made available for streaming in its entirety via YouTube and can be accessed below.<\/p>\n

A concept affair about the end of times, Look, Here Comes The Dark!<\/em> is described as a classic post-apocalyptic dystopia, like a musical version of Cormac McCarthy\u2019s The Road<\/em> (2006) or Colson Whitehead\u2019s Zone One<\/em> (2011). The album is divided into four consecutive periods throughout which the story of the disappearance of all life on Earth is told, namely; I: Anthropocene, II: Phytocene, III: Mycocene, and IV: Oryktocene. With each respective section, Abraham reportedly adopted a different approach in terms of style, songwriting, degree of experimentation, and choice of instrumentation. Producer Magnus Lindberg, of Cult Of Luna, mixed the drums, guitars, synths, vocals differently for each part, as if they were independent records. <\/p>\n

Second studio record The Serpent, The Prophet & The Whore<\/em> was released in October 2012 via Pelagic Records.<\/p>\n
