Falun, Sweden-based metal group Follow The Cipher issued their self-titled debut full-length studio album on May 11th, 2018 through Nuclear Blast Records.<\/p>\n

\u201cI consider our music as both visual and cinematic,\u201d said guitarist Ken K\u00e4ngstr\u00f6m. \u201cThe sound is large-scaled and multi-layered – each element plays an important role within the overall concept. You can listen to our music in two different ways; either by focusing on the individual, versatile elements like the keyboard melodies or Linda\u2019s powerful voice, or you can indulge in the whole package. Both type of listeners will get what they look for in our very own CIPHER METAL!\u201d<\/p>\n

The outing includes a re-recording of Sabaton\u2019s \u2018Carolus Rex\u2019 track, a song co-written by Ken K\u00e4ngst\u00f6rm with Sabaton vocalist Joakim Brod\u00e9n. \u201cI think the song sparked the first inspiration in me \u2013 in particular, it was responsible for me starting to trust my own abilities and judgment,\u201d reflected K\u00e4ngstr\u00f6m. \u201cWhen me and Joakim wrote this track, I felt deep inside that it was time to put my plans with Follow The Cipher into action.\u201d<\/p>\n
