Huntington, California-based thrash metal band Slayer performed headine dates in North America from May to August 2018 as part of their farewell world tour. The first leg – which kicked off on May 11th at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California – featured support from Richmond, Virginia-based metal group Lamb Of God, New York-based thrash metal ensemble Anthrax, Polish blackened death metallers Behemoth, and San Francisco, California-based thrash metal combo Testament. The second leg – which commenced on July 26th at the Bank Of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, New Hampshire – saw Birmingham, England-based grindcore outfit Napalm Death joining the trek in place of Behemoth.<\/p>\n

Slayer confirmed in January 2018 that they would be calling it a day at the end of their final world tour, with the dates scheduled as a thank you to all the fans that have supported the band during the past three and a half decades.<\/p>\n
