German heavy metal group Mystic Prophecy issued covers album Monuments Uncovered<\/em> on January 12th, 2018 through Massacre Records.<\/p>\n

Vocalist Roberto Dimitri Liapakis commented: \u201cThis album is like a love letter to the music that accompanied so many of us, myself included, in the \u201970s, \u201980s and \u201990s \u2014 and believe me, you have not heard the songs like this before! I\u2019m also really excited to show you a new and different side of Mystic Prophecy!\u201d<\/p>\n

The outing was produced by vocalist Robert Dimitri Liapakis and Mystic Prophecy at the Prophecy Studios, with mixing and mastering by Henrik Udd at Henrik Udd Recording Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden.<\/p>\n

Cover artwork duties fell to Du\u0161an Markovic.<\/p>\n

Monuments Uncovered<\/em> was made available as a limited edition digipak CD with an exclusive bonus track as well as limited vinyl LP.<\/p>\n

Directed by Kriss Jakob of AMP Aurora Motion Pictures, a music video was filmed for the band\u2019s cover of The Supremes track \u2018You Keep Me Hangin\u2019 On\u2019, while an animated music video was created for their rendition of the Mike Oldfield song \u2018Shadow On The Wall\u2019. In addition, an official lyric video was released for Mystic Prophecy\u2019s cover rendition of Tokyo\u2019s namesake track \u2018Toyko\u2019. All three clips can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Ninth studio record War Brigade<\/em> was released<\/a> in March 2016 via Massacre Records.<\/p>\n
