London, England-based death metal band De Profundis have signed an album contract with Transcending Obscurity Records, confirming this development on December 15th, 2017.<\/p>\n

The band issued the following statement: \u201cWe are excited to sign with Transcending Obscurity as over the last few years we have seen their profile rise and rise with the signing of top quality extreme metal bands – including the legendary Paganizer. We were looking for a label to push De Profundis into our next decade of existence and in Kunal we have found someone who shares our enthusiasm, professionalism and work ethic. Now that we have joined forces with Transcending Obscurity we cannot wait to unveil details of our fifth album which will be our heaviest to date. We promise you 2018 will the year of De Profundis!\u201d <\/p>\n

Transcending Obscurity Records\u2019 owner Kunal Choksi added the following words, meanwhile: \u201cI\u2019ve seen the band grow closely and as fate would have it, got the chance to work with them. They\u2019re evidently a very serious and professional band, and after listening to their new album which is more death metal and powerful than before, I feel this will be a great partnership. I can\u2019t wait to work towards giving it a worldwide release in early 2018.\u201d<\/p>\n
