Directed by Mathias Blom (The Happy Creative), the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n<p>The band commented: \u201cThe essence of what we wanted to mediate on our latest album, <em>1981<\/em>, all summed up in one track, the aptly named title track \u20181981\u2019. With lyrical content like \u2018Body count classics in an endless row\u2019 and \u2018We need reel violence to spice up the show\u2019 it\u2019s the perfect introduction to the rest of the album. Let\u2019s party like it\u2019s 1981!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>F.K.\u00dc. issued fifth full-length studio album <em>1981<\/em> on November 3rd, 2017 through Despotz Records.<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate their 30th anniversary F.K.\u00dc decided to pay tribute to the year 1981, the ultimate year of the slasher movie genre. The band stated: \u201cThe goal with the new album, inspired by <em>Corpse Mania<\/em>, <em>Night School<\/em> as well as the timeless classics <em>Halloween II<\/em> and <em>Friday The 13th Part 2<\/em> was to take the listener back to the old days. Back to when you and your friends went to the local video store to rent video cassettes, long before this thing called the internet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>1981<\/em> was recorded by William Blackmon at The Overlook Studio in G\u00e4vle and produced by F.K.\u00dc. In addition, an official lyric video was created for the song \u2018Friday The 13th Part 2\u2019.
