Hull, England-based hard rock \/ heavy metal band Salem have signed an album contract with Dissonance Productions, revealing this development on August 2nd, 2017.<\/p>\n

Guitarist Paul Macnamara commented: \u201cWe are delighted to have signed with Dissonance Productions \u2013 their knowledge and experience, combined with Plastic Head\u2019s world-renowned distribution, all represent a very positive step forward for Salem.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe new album, Attrition<\/em>, has been over a year in the making, and we are confident that our fans will love it. Once again the focus is on strong melodies, with a hard rock \/ NWOBHM flavour, and high-octane delivery.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are looking forward to working with Steve, Tom and the rest of the team for many years to come.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dissonance Productions label boss Steve Beatty added: \u201cWhat to say? It\u2019s great to have Salem on the label! They are back with a renewed energy, what I have heard so far from Attrition<\/em> is exciting and worth any metalhead\u2019s attention. 2018 is going to be a great year from Salem and their fans \u2013 a great record will hopefully be followed a lot of live shows!\u201d<\/p>\n

The band\u2019s third full-length studio album Attrition<\/em> is scheduled for a February 2018 release.<\/p>\n
