THRESHOLD Release 11th Studio Album \u2018Legends Of The Shires\u2019<\/strong><\/span>

British progressive metal group Threshold issued 11th full-length studio album Legends Of The Shires<\/em> on September 8th, 2017 through Nuclear Blast.<\/p>\n

A double-disc affair, Legends Of The Shires<\/em> marks the first Threshold outing since November 1994 affair Psychedelicatessen<\/em> to feature the vocals of Glynn Morgan, Glynn Morgan\u2019s return having been confirmed on March 27th, 2017.<\/p>\n

The album also features a guest appearance by one of Threshold\u2019s founder members Jon Jeary, who contributes vocals to the track \u2018The Shire (Part 3)\u2019. Jeary was the band\u2019s bassist and backing vocalist, and last performed with Threshold in 2002.<\/p>\n

Speaking about his cameo, Jon Jeary commented: \u201cI always look forward to hearing a new Threshold album and this time I\u2019m doubly excited because Glynn will be singing and also, I am proud to say, there will be a small cameo vocal performance from me on \u2018The Shire (Part 3)\u2019. It\u2019s great to be able to appreciate what Threshold do now as one of their faithful army of fans and a privilege to make a small contribution.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cover artwork duties fell to Russian artist Elena Dudina.<\/p>\n

Directed by Sitcom Soldiers, a music video was filmed for the track \u2018Small Dark Lines\u2019. In addition, official lyric videos were also created for the songs \u2018Lost In Translation\u2019 and \u2018Stars And Satellites\u2019. All three clips can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Tenth studio record For The Journey<\/em> was released in September 2014 via Nuclear Blast.<\/p>\n
