Halmstad, Sweden-based extreme metal group Shining issued tenth full-length studio album X \u2013 Varg Utan Flock<\/em> (English translation: \u2018Wolf Without A Pack\u2019) on January 5th, 2018 through Season Of Mist.<\/p>\n

The album has been made available for streaming in its entirety and can be accessed via the YouTube link below.<\/p>\n

X \u2013 Varg Utan Flock<\/em> acts as a successor to fifth studio outing V – Halmstad (Niklas ang\u00e5ende Niklas)<\/em>, which emerged in June 2007.<\/p>\n

The outing was recorded, mixed and mastered by King Diamond guitarist Andy La Rocque at his Sonic Train Studios in Varberg, Sweden. La Rocque also contributes a guess guitar solo on the track \u2018Jag \u00c4r Din Fiende\u2019, while Finnish pianist Olli Ahvenlahti is featured on the song \u2018Tolvtusenfyrtioett\u2019.<\/p>\n

Ten-inch EP Fiende<\/em> was released on November 24th, the A-side being the track \u2018Jag \u00c4r Din Fiende\u2019. The B-side contained an acoustic cover version of the song \u2018No Rest For The Wicked\u2019 (The Coffinshakers).<\/p>\n

Ninth studio record IX – Everyone, Everything, Everywhere, Ends<\/em> was released in June 2015 via Season Of Mist.<\/p>\n
