ALICE IN CHAINS Unveil Music Video For Title Track Of Latest Album \u2018Rainier Fog\u2019<\/strong><\/span>

Seattle, Washington-based alternative rock group Alice In Chains have filmed a music video for the title track of their latest album Rainier Fog<\/em>. Directed by Peter Darley Miller and Alice In Chains, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn a world where things are becoming increasingly serious, with \u2018Rainier Fog\u2019 we have continued our long tradition of making asses out of ourselves in videos,\u201d commented drummer Sean Kinney. \u201cSo for all of you that were raised bottle-fed, this one is for you. Mission accomplished.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cWe had a great time working with Peter Darley Miller again,\u201d said guitarist Jerry Cantrell. \u201cWe made AIC 23 in 2013 with him, which was amazing. We had a blast making the \u2018Rainier Fog\u2019 music video, which continues the northwest theme of the record. We hope you enjoy it and have a laugh.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe band\u2019s maternal instincts were spot on,\u201d added Miller. \u201cIt was a kind and loving environment. I felt special.\u201d <\/p>\n

Alice In Chains issued sixth full-length studio album Rainier Fog<\/em> on August 24th, 2018 through BMG.<\/p>\n

Jerry Cantrell commented: \u201cIt\u2019s a record we haven\u2019t done yet, but it\u2019s also a record that has all the elements of anything you would expect from us. It\u2019s got our fingerprint. And we\u2019re really proud of the material we wrote and the performances we captured. There\u2019s some really heavy shit, some really ugly stuff, some really beautiful stuff, some weirdo trippy shit… it\u2019s good.\u201d<\/p>\n

The outing is the third straight Alice In Chains studio release recorded with producer Nick Raskulinecz and engineer Paul Figueroa following 2013\u2019s The Devil Put Dinosaurs<\/em> Here and 2009\u2019s Black Gives Way To Blue<\/em>. <\/p>\n

As for the span between albums, Cantrell added: \u201cWe wait until we\u2019re ready and until we have material that\u2019s up to the Alice In Chains standard and then we do what we do. This is the racket we make when we get together.\u201d<\/p>\n
