Skellefte\u00e5, Sweden-based folk \/ progressive metal band Vintersorg have made the track \u2018J\u00f6kelv\u00e4ktaren\u2019 available for streaming through YouTube, which can be accessed below.<\/p>\n

Vintersorg mainman Andreas Hedlund commented: \u201cThis song is kind of a sequel to the song called \u2018J\u00f6keln\u2019 from the Till Fj\u00e4lls<\/em> album from 1998. I really wanted to tie it back to that lyrical theme that deals with Glaciers. The first episode on that old album is more of an observation of the mightiness of a Glacier and how it effects its surroundings, including mankind. On the new episode I took a different path lyric wise. It\u2019s much more from an environmental stand point dealing with sustainability. Mankind continues to treat this planet as garbage in some aspects to the point that we actually contribute to melting poles. So, the lyric is about a human being that sees this and tries to address this problem. Still it has a lot of nature scenery-worship-style. The music has both harsh and soft edges with a very powerful chorus.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vintersorg issue tenth full-length studio album Till Fj\u00e4lls del II<\/em> on June 30th, 2017 through Napalm Records.<\/p>\n

The outing is a sequel to the band\u2019s 1998 debut album Till Fj\u00e4lls<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Till Fj\u00e4lls del II<\/em> will be made available as a 2CD 6-page digipak, and 2LP black vinyl gatefold edition, with the latter strictly limited to 300 copies worldwide.<\/p>\n

Cover artwork duties fell to Brazilian artist Marcelo Vasco.<\/p>\n
