The album is a 180 from Ravensong – it hits a lot harder up front. Lots of drums and raw guitars dominating our usual layered vocal / instrumental arrangements.

“I’m always looking to add new elements to the sound of an album, but at the end of the day Sacred Oath is always Sacred Oath. We’ve never had any reason to be anything other than true to ourselves. Some people call us power metal, some traditional metal. We don’t think much about any of that.”

Cover artwork was created by designer Jack Walker.

The track listing is as follows:

01. ‘New Religion’
02. ‘Twelve Bells’
03. ‘Fighter’s Heart’
04. ‘Bionic’
05. ‘Never And Forevermore’
06. ‘Demon Ize’
07. ‘Well Of Souls’
08. ‘Eat the Young’
09. ‘No Man’s Land’
10. ‘The Last Word’

Sacred Oath’s line-up was as follows:

Rob Thorne (vocals and guitar)
Bill Smith (guitar)
Brendan Kelleher (bass)
Kenny ‘Thundarr’ Evans (drums)

A music video and an official lyric video were released for the title track.
