DRAGONFORCE Release Seventh Studio Album \u2018Reaching Into Infinity\u2019<\/strong><\/span>

Multinational power metal band DragonForce issued seventh full-length studio album Reaching Into Infinity<\/em> on May 19th, 2017 in Europe through earMUSIC. North American release took place on the same day via Metal Blade Records.<\/p>\n

The outing was made available in the following formats: vinyl LP, standard edition CD and a special edition CD \/ DVD. The latter includes bonus tracks and additional DVD disc featuring live footage from the band\u2019s performance at the Woodstock Festival in Kostrzyn, Poland on July 16th, 2016.<\/p>\n

The bulk of the album was recorded at Fascination Street Studios in Sweden with producer Jens Bogren. DragonForce also laid down tracks while touring their 2016 compilation album Killer Elite<\/em>, utilizing Lamerluser Studios in London, England, Dark Lane Studios in Witney, England, as well as the band\u2019s own Evil1 Studios in Charleville-Mezieres, France and Shredforce One Studios in Los Angeles, California.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were flying out, playing a festival, then back into the studio, then back out again,\u201d explained bass player Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Leclercq, who also handled the majority of songwriting on the album. \u201cIt was very intense and very tiring. I obviously played bass but also a lot of rhythm guitar, electric and acoustic, and lost my temper a few times – I think we all did at some point, because we wanted to deliver nothing but the best.\u201d<\/p>\n
