MONSTER MAGNET Release Lyric Video For \u2018When The Hammer Comes Down\u2019 Track<\/strong><\/span>

Red Bank, New Jersey-based metal group Monster Magnet have released an official lyric video for the track \u2018When The Hammer Comes Down\u2019, which can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Monster Magnet issued tenth full-length studio album Mindfucker<\/em> on March 23rd, 2018 through Napalm Records.<\/p>\n

The band entered the studio during November 2016 to begin recording sessions.<\/p>\n

Monster Magnet mainman Dave Wyndorf commented: \u201cMindfucker<\/em> is a fuzzed out, headbangin\u2019 celebration of hard rock and 21st Century paranoia. Ten fuel-injected, nitro-burning tracks of fiery rock \u2019n\u2019 roll and garage psych madness, all done Monster Magnet style. It\u2019s also an album that gets right to the point: the world is out of its fucking mind and I\u2019m livin\u2019 it\u2026. for better or worse. It\u2019s simple, really. In these crazy times, I\u2019ve been wanting to just drive my car at 100 miles per hour and howl, you know what I mean? So I wrote songs I can do that with. And with lyrics that don\u2019t deny the times we\u2019re living in. Feels good, feels right. Rock is alive, baby!\u201d<\/p>\n

Music videos were filmed for the title track and the band\u2019s cover of Robert Calvert\u2019s \u2018Ejection\u2019, the original version of the song having appeared on the former Hawkwind singer\u2019s 1974 concept album Captain Lockheed And The Starfighters<\/em>. In addition, an official lyric video was created for the song \u2018I\u2019m God\u2019. All three clips can also be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Ninth studio record Last Patrol<\/em><\/a> was released in October 2013 via Napalm Records.<\/p>\n
