EASTERN FRONT Premiere \u2018The Fire Consumes\u2019 Music Video<\/strong><\/span>

\nIpswich, England-based black metal band Eastern Front have filmed a music video for the track \u2018The Fire Consumes\u2019, which can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Eastern Front issued third full-length studio album EmpirE<\/em> on September 30th, 2016 through Cacophonous Records.<\/p>\n

The entire album has been made available for streaming through SoundCloud, which can be accessed below.<\/p>\n

Guitarist Destroyer commented: \u201cEmpirE<\/em> is our darkest and most conceptual release to date. Its essence is limitless loss, the notion that empires are literally built upon countless sacrifice and slaughter. The bigger the empire the more blood will have been spilt, the more pain endured, the more wounds inflicted. EmpirE<\/em> is a focused single vision of death as is conveyed throughout the artwork and is our statement of intent as a band redefined. This concept resonates for the members of Eastern Front, pain and loss having been the band\u2019s fifth member for the last few years so this as a catalyst certainly affected the writing when research began, that place of introspective honestly is what birthed the album EmpirE<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

EmpirE<\/em> is the first Eastern Front album to feature lead vocalist Marder. \u201cWe welcome Marder to the vocal parapet, a true ferocious force of nature and now an essential part of our battalion,\u201d added Destroyer. \u201cDuring the first studio sessions Marder came in as a guest for the record but from the first scream we knew if the job of vocalist for Eastern Front ever became available again she is the one. It did. She is.\u201d<\/p>\n

The outing was recorded and produced by Danny B at HVR Studios in Ipswich. Cradle Of Filth frontman Dani Filth conributes guest vocals on the track \u2018Crimson Mourn\u2019.<\/p>\n
