BELPHEGOR Issue Lyric Video For \u2018The Devil\u2019s Son\u2019 Track<\/strong><\/span>

Salzburg, Austria-based death \/ black metal band Belphegor have released an official lyric video for the track \u2018The Devil\u2019s Son\u2019, a song dedicated to the legendary violinist Niccol\u00f2 Paganini (1781-1849). Featuring perfomance footage filmed in the mountains of Abtenau in Austria, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Belphegor issued 11th full-length studio album Totenritual<\/em> on September 15th, 2017 through Nuclear Blast Records.<\/p>\n

Frontman Helmuth Lehner commented: \u201cIt is the most brutally heavy offering we have consecrated thus far. The drums are precise and very technical with loads of breaks, fills and tempo changes. The bass is like a panzer tank. Also the rhythm guitars are complete; utterly aggressive and obscure. You don\u2019t hear guitars like that anywhere with such a massively low tuning. I\u2019m really proud of all we have tracked so far and created for the new audial hellspawn. An honour \u2013 this horror!!\u201d<\/p>\n

The outing was recorded at Stage One Studios in Borgentreich, Germany with producer Andy Classen, and at Studio Mischmaschine in Austria. Mixing will be handled by Jason Suecof with mastering being undertaken by Mark Lewis, all at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, Florida.<\/p>\n

Cover artwork duties fell to Seth Siro Anton, who previously painted the cover artworks for Pestokalypse VI<\/em> (2006) and Conjuring The Dead<\/em> (2014)<\/p>\n

Directed by Grupa13, a music video was filmed for the track \u2018Baphomet\u2019. In addition, official lyric videos were created for the songs \u2018Baphomet\u2019 and \u2018Apophis – Black Dragon\u2019. All three clips can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Tenth studio record Conjuring The Dead<\/em> was released in August 2014.<\/p>\n
