Columbus, Ohio-based metalcore group Beartooth have filmed a music video for the track \u2018Sick Of Me\u2019. Directed by Marc Klasfeld and featuring live footage shot by Kevin Slack, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

The documentary-style video follows the stories of four individuals struggling with depression and how each has channeled their energy into something positive to overcome it.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s rare that I am able to create a music video that allows other people to get their story across with such a positive message,\u201d notes Klasfeld. \u201cI really hope it can help anyone afflicted with depression in some way.\u201d<\/p>\n

Beartooth frontman Caleb Shomo comments on his own battle with the disease: \u201cDepression and anxiety isn\u2019t something you just get away from. It\u2019s just inside you. For me, it\u2019s just always in my brain churning. It\u2019s about fighting it and overcoming it; you can\u2019t run away from it. You have to deal with it. This song is a big way to help. At least for me, music has been implanted in my body and what I\u2019ve connected with. When I go on stage, everything goes away. If you can choose that you will not let depression and anxiety run your life, you\u2019re going to make it. It\u2019s your body and your life and your choice.\u201d<\/p>\n

Adds the band: \u201cWe would like to thank our guests Ernesto, Katie, and Portia for sharing their stories of their struggles with depression.<\/p>\n

Beartooth issued second full-length studio album Aggressive<\/em> on June 3rd, 2016 through Red Bull Records.<\/p>\n

The outing was written and produced by frontman Caleb Shomo at his home studio, with John Feldmann contributing towards the songwriting process. Mixing was handled by David Bendeth.<\/p>\n

A deluxe edition of Aggressive<\/em> was released on May 26th, 2017 containing six bonus tracks and a DVD featuring a \u2018Live In Columbus\u2019 concert and band documentary.<\/p>\n

Music videos were also filmed for the title track and the song \u2018Hated\u2019. In addition, a live performance video was also released for \u2018Hated\u2019. All three clips can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Debut studio record Disgusting<\/em> was released in June 2014.<\/p>\n
