San Francisco, California-based heavy metal band Vicious Rumors issued 12th full-length studio album Concussion Protocol<\/em> in Europe and North America on August 26th, 2016 through Steamhammer \/ SPV. The Japanese release was scheduled for release on August 24th and featured a bonus track \u2018Death Bed Razor\u2019.<\/p>\n

The outing was produced by Vicious Rumors guitarist Geoff Thorpe and longtime co-producer and engineer Juan Urteaga at Trident Studios in Pacheco, California.<\/p>\n

Thorpe commented: \u201cThe album is relentless and crushing in true, classic Vicious Rumors style but with many twists and turns. Believe me, you\u2019re in for a treat, VRazors!!! If you\u2019ve ever been a fan of Vicious Rumors, [Black] Sabbath, [Judas] Priest or [Iron] Maiden and a little bay area style thrash thrown in for good measure, then this album is definitely for you!!! Everything you love about Vicious Rumors is present throughout the whole album!!!\u201d<\/p>\n
