CHILD BITE Release Music Video For \u2018Vermin Mentality\u2019 Track<\/strong><\/span>

\nDetroit, Michigan-based post-punk \/ noise rock group Child Bite have filmed a music video for the track \u2018Vermin Mentality\u2019, which can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

The clip was written and directed by Ryan Oliver of Deathblow Productions and includes appearances by Bill Moseley (The Devil\u2019s Rejects<\/em>, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2<\/em>), Wayne Alon Scott (Tim And Eric\u2019s Bedtime Stories<\/em>), Danny Belrose (Portlandia<\/em>, Brooklyn 99<\/em>), Sarah French (Killer Biker Chicks<\/em>, Strip Club Slasher<\/em>), and Elissa Dowling (Tales Of Halloween<\/em>, We Are Still Here<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Child Bite frontman Shawn Knight commented: \u201cWe consider ourselves very lucky to have snagged Ryan Oliver for our latest music video. We were familiar with his short films Restoration<\/em> and Air Condition<\/em> since they had screened at the Housecore Horror Film Fest. He had seen our previous videos, including \u2018Ancestral Ooze\u2019 (2014) – featuring King Buzzo from the Melvins – and was up for the task of dumping countless hours and buckets of elbow grease into this ambitious masterwork. We gave him a heads up just one week before we were booked to play in Chicago, and in that time Ryan and his crew had created everything needed for the van sequence. This included a giant rat costume with functioning jaw and red glowing eyes as well as all of the weaponry needed to combat the rodent horde.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe second shoot, which took place a couple months later out in Los Angeles, involved a fully-outfitted science lab and several rats, both real and artificial. This location was selected since we had Bill Moseley officially on board to play our lead lab tech. During the months before and after the shoot, Ryan and his team were busy building a complete miniature set at his Chicago-based effects studio, The Rot Shop.<\/p>\n

\u201cOnce that elaborate miniature set was ready, they proceeded with the third and final shoot; real rats in tiny Chicago. In the end, we couldn\u2019t be more thrilled with how it all turned out and are anxious to see what Ryan does next!\u201d<\/p>\n

Child Bite issued fourth full-length studio album Negative Noise<\/em> on April 1st, 2016 through Housecore Records.<\/p>\n

Negative Noise<\/em> was produced by Down \/ ex-Pantera vocalist Philip H. Anselmo, mixed by Stephen \u201cBig Fella\u201d Berrigan, and mastered by Scott Hull. Cover artwork duties fell to singer Shawn Knight.<\/p>\n
