{"id":39243,"date":"2016-02-15T00:00:47","date_gmt":"2016-02-15T00:00:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.metalforcesmagazine.com\/site\/?p=39243"},"modified":"2016-02-15T18:24:12","modified_gmt":"2016-02-15T18:24:12","slug":"news-votum-release-fourth-studio-album-ktonik","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.metalforcesmagazine.com\/site\/news-votum-release-fourth-studio-album-ktonik\/","title":{"rendered":"VOTUM Issue Lyric Video For \u2018Spiral\u2019 Track (February 15th, 2016) | News @ Metal Forces Magazine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"title2\"><strong>VOTUM Issue Lyric Video For \u2018Spiral\u2019 Track<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial; font-size: 8pt\"><strong>February 15th, 2016<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.metalforcesmagazine.com\/site\/wp-content\/themes\/metalforces\/images\/spacer.gif\" width=\"10\" border=\"0\"><br \/>\nWarsaw, Poland-based progressive metal band Votum have created an official lyric video for the track \u2018Spiral\u2019, which can be viewed below.<\/p>\n<p>Votum issue fourth full-length studio album <em>:Ktonik:<\/em> on February 26th, 2016 through Inner Wound Recordings.<\/p>\n<p><em>:Ktonik:<\/em> is the first Votum release to feature new vocalist Bart Sobieraj and guitarist Piotr Lniany, who both joined in 2013 to replace Maciej Kosi\u0144ski and Aleksander Salamonik respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Recordings for the outing took place between May and June 2015 at Hertz Studio, Prusiewicz Studio and Izabelin Studio in Poland, while the album was mixed by David Castillo at Ghost Ward in \u00c5rsta, Sweden, and mastered by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Street Studios in \u00d6rebro, Sweden.
