IHSAHN Makes \u2018Crooked Red Line\u2019 Track Available For Streaming<\/strong><\/span>

\nNotodden, Norway-based extreme metal vocalist Ihsahn, frontman of Emperor, has made the track \u2018Crooked Red Line\u2019 available for streaming through SoundCloud, which can be accessed below.<\/p>\n

Ihsahn issues sixth solo full-length studio album\u00a0Arktis.<\/em>\u00a0on April 8th, 2016 through Candlelight \/ Spinefarm Records. The effort was originally scheduled for release on March 4th.<\/p>\n

Arktis.<\/em> was recorded at Ihsahn\u2019s studio in Notodden, Norway, and mixed in Sweden by Jens Bogren.\u00a0Arktis\u00a0features guest appearances from the following musicians;\u00a0Einar Solberg\u00a0(Leprous),\u00a0Matt Heafy\u00a0(Trivium),\u00a0Jorgen Munkeby\u00a0(Shining),\u00a0Tobias Ornes Andersen\u00a0(Shining \/ ex-Leprous), and renowned Norwegian author\u00a0Hans Herbjornsrud.<\/p>\n

Inaugural single \u2018Mass Darkness\u2019 was released on December 18th, 2015. An official lyric video was created for the track by Michael Dickinson, the visuals inspired by late 1800s Norwegian explorer and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Fridtjof Nansen\u2019s three-year expedition to the North Pole; first by ship, and then by foot over land. This can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Fifth solo studio record\u00a0Das Seelenbrechen<\/em><\/a>\u00a0was released in October 2013.<\/p>\n
