Canadian metal group Ex Deo, which feature Ancient Roman-themed lyrical content and are fronted by Kataklysm vocalist Maurizio Iacono, issued third full-length studio album The Immortal Wars<\/em><\/a> on February 24th, 2017 through Napalm Records.<\/p>\n

Recording sessions took place at JFD Studios in Dallas, Texas, and at Pirate Studio in Montreal, Canada with Kataklysm guitarist Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Dagenais.<\/p>\n

The outing\u2019s main concept deals with Punic Wars, a series of three wars fought between Rome and Carthage from 264 B.C. to 146 B.C. In addition, The Immortal Wars<\/em> features other subjects on Ancient Rome.<\/p>\n
