AT THE GATES Release Fifth Studio Album \u2018At War With Reality\u2019<\/strong><\/span>

\nGothenburg, Sweden-based melodic death metal group At The Gates issued fifth full-length studio album At War With Reality<\/em> on October 24th, 2014 in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Finland through Century Media Records, The label scheduled North American and European release for the 27th (excluding Italy, Spain, Poland, and Sweden). The record was issued on the 28th in Italy, Spain, and Poland, on the 29th in Sweden, and on the 31st in Australia and New Zealand, all via Century Media Records. Japanese release occurred on the 29th through Trooper Entertainment.<\/p>\n

The outing was recorded at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden, and was mixed at Fascination Street Studios in \u00d6rebro, Sweden with Jens Bogren.<\/p>\n

Cover artwork duties fell to Costin Chioreanu.<\/p>\n

In its first week of release, At War With Reality<\/em> sold roughly 7,700 copies in the United States, landing at position 53 on the Billboard 200 chart.<\/p>\n

Music video were filmed for the tracks \u2018Death And The Labyrinth\u2019 and \u2018The Book Of Sand (The Abomination)\u2019. In addition, cover artist Costin Chioreanu created animated music videos for the songs \u2018Heroes And Tombs\u2019 and \u2018The Night Eternal\u2019, while an official live video was released for the track \u2018The Circular Ruins\u2019. All five clips can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Fourth studio record Slaughter Of The Soul<\/em> was released in November 1995.<\/p>\n
