H-Bomb are the second French band this year (the first was Sortil\u00e8ge) to be snapped up by the Dutch label Rave-On Records, and a killer debut they\u2019ve come up with too\u2026 six tracks of pure metallic rifferama.<\/p>\n

The \u201cAtomic\u201d side opens with \u2018H-Bomb\u2019, a fast and furious number that sounds like Mot\u00f6rhead with melody and sets the pace for much of the album, the only exception being the title track. \u2018Dans les Griffes D\u2019Attila\u2019 features some excellent solo trading from guitarists Armando Ferreira and Christian Martin, while the Riot-ish \u2018Chasseur de Frime\u2019 is a real headbanger\u2019s delight with its dazzling power and speed \u2013 the mini-album\u2019s best cut.<\/p>\n

The \u201cMetallic\u201d side offers more ferocious mayhem in the shape of \u2018Le Loup\u2019 and \u2018Condamn\u00e9 \u00e0 Mort\u2019. In comparison, the album\u2019s closer \u2018Coup de Metal\u2019 is a little disappointing, being a rather weak, slower paced plodder. But make no mistake this is still an explosive debut.<\/p>\n

The French lyrics may limit the overall success of the band, but there\u2019s no doubt that H-Bomb will become a firm favourite with a majority of the hardcore metal fanatics throughout the world.<\/p>\n
