American doom metal group Serpents Of Secrecy have recruited current Gypsy Chief Goliaths \/ former Mighty Nimbus frontman Al Yeti Bones as their vocalist, revealing this development on July 22nd, 2015.<\/p>\n

Guitarist Todd Ingram issued the following statement: \u201cWe were working with several candidates and heard some great vocalists but Al\u2019s demos had the attack, passion and feel that best matched the music we\u2019re writing. His performances were the first ones where all three of us thought, \u2018Yep, this is our guy.\u2019 And his enthusiasm for this project has truly been impressive. He sent us vocal takes less than twenty-four hours after receiving the rough tracks.\u201d<\/p>\n

Al Yeti Bones shared the following words, meanwhile: \u201cI couldn\u2019t be more excited to be a part of this band. It\u2019s been nearly a decade since I’ve been involved with anything Stateside, and the name Serpents Of Secrecy truly spoke to me. Fitting for what we are doing and the road we travel down, which is one that has been relatively silent to the public waiting for the right time to strike by unleashing this beast unto the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

A debut full-length studio album is being recorded in Baltimore, Maryland at Magpie Cage Studios with J. Robbins. The first round of tracking is complete, with additional sessions scheduled to occur in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
