{"id":31602,"date":"2015-07-20T00:00:18","date_gmt":"2015-07-20T00:00:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.metalforcesmagazine.com\/site\/?p=31602"},"modified":"2015-07-20T22:32:42","modified_gmt":"2015-07-20T22:32:42","slug":"news-tim-bowness-release-third-solo-studio-album-stupid-things-that-mean-the-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.metalforcesmagazine.com\/site\/news-tim-bowness-release-third-solo-studio-album-stupid-things-that-mean-the-world\/","title":{"rendered":"TIM BOWNESS: Designer Jarrod Gosling Talks \u2018Stupid Things That Mean The World\u2019 Cover Artwork (July 20th, 2015) | News @ Metal Forces Magazine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"title2\"><strong>TIM BOWNESS: Designer Jarrod Gosling Talks \u2018Stupid Things That Mean The World\u2019 Cover Artwork<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial; font-size: 8pt\"><strong>July 20th, 2015<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.metalforcesmagazine.com\/site\/wp-content\/themes\/metalforces\/images\/spacer.gif\" width=\"10\" border=\"0\"><br \/>\nEnglish progressive rock vocalist Tim Bowness \u2013 of No-Man \u2013 has published a video in which designer Jarrod Gosling discusses the cover artwork for third full-length solo studio album <em>Stupid Things That Mean The World<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Tim Bowness issued <em>Stupid Things That Mean The World<\/em> on July 17th, 2015 through Inside Out Music.<\/p>\n<p>The outing was produced by Bowness, and mixed by The Pineapple Thief vocalist \/ guitarist Bruce Soord, who additionally lends guitar parts to the album in places. <em>Stupid Things That Mean The World<\/em>\u2019s recording line-up features Bowness along with members of the No-Man live band (Stephen Bennett, Michael Bearpark, and Andrew Booker) as well as Porcupine Tree bassist Colin Edwin, that line-up augmented by contributions from Peter Hammill, Phil Manzanera, Pat Mastelotto (King Crimson percussionist), Anna Phoebe, David Rhodes (Peter Gabriel \/ Kate Bush \/ Scott Walker), and Rhys Marsh.
